A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION OS-8S ESTABLISHING
THE ICE ARENA COMMISSION MEETING DATES
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council adopted Resolution 96-96 establishing the Ice Arena
Commission meetings and adopted Resolution 05-86 amending those meeting to the
second Tuesdays of April and August at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall with additional
meetings being held at the call of the Chair or at the request of two other
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, on August 8, 2006, the Ice Arena Commission voted unanimously to add two
additional meetings to take place on the second Wednesday of January and the
second Wednesday of November; and
WHEREAS, Section 2-255 of the Elk River City Code calls for the City Council to establish by
resolution the meeting dates, times, and locations of the Ice Arena Commission
meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River that
the Elk River Ice Arena Commission shall meet on the second Tuesday of April and
August at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall and the second Wednesday of January and
November at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall with additional meetings being held at the call of
the Chair or at the request of two other Commissioners.
Passed and adopted by the City of Elk River City Council on this 2nd day of October 2006.
