SALE OF 1990 FORD CROWN VICTORIA SQUAD CARS
This memo is to inform the City Council that the police department
advertised in the public notice section of the Elk River Star News
that we were accepting sealed bids for the sale of the two (2) 1990
Ford Crown victoria police vehicles until May 23, 1994, at 2:00
p.m. .
The Elk River Police Department received three (3) sealed bids
which were opened on May 23, 1994, at 2:00 p.m. The sealed bids
were received from:
Suburban Auto, Mpls, MN
Chicago Motors, Chicago, IL
Cheyka Motors, Inc., Schofield, WI
$6,118.00 both vehicles
$3,802.00 both vehicles
$3,653.14 both vehicles
I am, therefore, recommending that the Elk River City Council
accept the sealed bid submitted by Suburban Auto as the highest bid
in the amount of $6,118.00.
