SUBJECT: Request for Charitable Gambling funds
to be used for the Fourth of July
celebration
INTRODUCTION

During the past two years, the American Legion, Eagles and the VFW have
contributed money to the City. These contributions have been used to
supplement the City's financial support for the annual Fourth of July
celebration.
In order for the City to receive charitable gambling funds for this activity, a
formal request must be made by the City Council.
ACTION REQUESTED
Motion to request $2,000 from the Fraternal Order of Eagles to supplement
the City's financial support for the annual Fourth of July celebration.
Motion to request $2,000 from the American Legion Post #112 to supplement
the City's financial support for the annual Fourth of July celebration.
Motion to request $300 from the VFW Post #5518 to supplement the City's
financial support for the annual Fourth of July celebration.
