No Parking Signs on Orono Road
This is to inform the City Council that the police department has
been experiencing problems with people parking vehicles along
Orono Road, north of Orono Parkway. With the July 4th
celebration coming, I am requesting the City Council authorize
the placement of "No Parking" signs along Orono Road, on both
sides of the street, from Orono Parkway to Gary St. to help avoid
a dangerous parking problem. This request has been discussed
with Phil Hals, Street Superintendent, and he concurs.
