SUBJECT: Consider transient merchant license for
Craig Garcia to allow the door-to-door
sale of educational books
INTRODUCTION:
Craig Garcia has made application for a transient merchant license to sell
educational books door-to-door in the City of Elk River.
e BACKGROUND:
Mr. Garcia is employed by the Southwestern Company. Mr. Garcia has
submitted the license fee and application for a transient merchant license.
The Police Department has signed off on the background check.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Council authorize a transient merchant license to
allow Craig Garcia to sell books door-to-door in the City of Elk River.
