Introduction
The City of Elk River received $500 donations from the Ace Solid Waste Company, the First National
Bank, the Bank of Elk River, and the Lion's Club. The City also received a donation of $1,000 from the
Fraternal Order of Eagles all with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for the
Fright Night event.

The contributions were used for family programs at the Fright Night event.

It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary
contribution from the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3264, The Bank of Elk River, First National
Bank, Ace Solid Waste Company, and the Lion's Club pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all ClVlC groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the year 2006 from various
individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
that the donations on the attached Exhibit A are accepted in accordance with the terms
prescribed by the donors.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 13th day of November.
