Introduction
The applicant, Steve Wazwaz, is requesting a tobacco license.
Discussion
The applicant would be selling tobacco products at Steve's Smoke Shop, Inc. located at 19112 Freeport
Street (formerly Ken's Smoke Shop, Inc.). All the required application materials have been submitted.
Seven compliance checks have been done by Sherburne County and our Police Department at this
location in the past five years with one violation of sales to underage youth occurring on August 30, 2006,
while under the license of Ken's Smoke Shop, Inc. Steps have been taken to correct this situation.
The background check was clear and the property taxes for the premises are current.
