Item Description
Appoint John Anderson to the Downtown Redevelopment Plan
Taskforce
Introduction
The Downtown Redevelopment Plan Taskforce had its first meeting on November 6th. Downtown
resident John Anderson was in attendance, which prompted two taskforce members to suggest that he be
invited to become an official member of the taskforce. Mr. Anderson indicated interest after the meeting
and is willing to serve on the taskforce.
Background
At its October 2nd meeting, the City Council appointed the following members to the taskforce:

Mr. Anderson would add the perspective of a downtown resident to the taskforce. In addition, it was the
HRA's original intent to have two resident taskforce members. This appointment fulfills the HRA's
desired taskforce representation, therefore no new appointments will be considered.
Action Requested
Staff recommends that the City Council consider appointing John Anderson to the Redevelopment Plan
Taskforce.
