their jurisdiction extends to ascertain if section 18.78 and related nlles have been c0111plied \\r1.th;
(2) see that the control or eradication of noxious \veeds is carried out in accordance \\rith section 18.83
and related lules; and
(3) issue perlruts in accordance \vith section 18.82 and related rules for dle transportation of Inaterials
or equipn1ent infested \vith noxious \veed propagating parts.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ASSISTANT WEED INSPECTOR
\VHEREAS,
rvlUlnesota Statutes require dle 1\Jayor to act as a local \veed inspector for the
City of Elk River; and
\VHEREAS,
1-J.innesota Statutes also provides for the appoint1nent of an assistant \veed
inspector to act on behalf of the IvIayor; and
\VHEREAS,

responsibility as the lvfayor in the capacity of \Xleed Inspector.
