The 2007 budget COIltains equipl11ent certificate fundll1g for tb.e purcllase of a used inatO! grader.
Discussion
Council autllorization is l1eeded to start tile purcllasing process. Since tlle total expenditure \vill be
$100,000 plus tlle trade in v"alue of our 1978 C..c\.T 120G lllotor grader, \ve \vill need to go througll tlle
el1t1re bidding process. lJsed lnachines do not stay on tlle l1larket for long, so Staff \vould ask for
COUI1Cil's appro.val to proceed \vidl adv.ertising for bids at tllls titne to enable us to lllo\re quickly if a
desirable lnachllle COllles av"ailable. Council appro\Tal \vill be needed to finalize tlle purcllase after bids are
