A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE
1998 LCMR COOPERATIVE TRAIL GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS,
the City of Elk River pledges fifty percent (50%) of the
proposed 2.85 mile railroad trail paving project for the
proposed LCMR Cooperative Trail Grant Program; and,
WHEREAS, the total cost of the project is $98,000; and,
WHEREAS,
the City of Elk River will be the sponsoring unit of
government for said project; and,
WHEREAS,
the City appoints Assistant City Administrator Lori Johnson
as the financial director for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City pledges a spirit of
cooperation to the proposed project in the amount of $49,000.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the 'City of Elk River this 19th day
of October, 1998.
