Staff is requesting special meetings on Monday, March 26, 2007 for the presentation of annual reports
and Monday, April 23, 2007 for the Board of Appeal and Equalization.
Discussion
Department heads will be present for the annual report presentation to present their goals for 2007 and
for any questions. A written report will be sent to Council a week or two prior to the meeting. The Cable
Department has a video that will be played during the Council meeting.
The Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting is held at Sherburne County and its purpose is to
consider and review estimated market values and property classifications.

I, Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor, hereby request a special meeting of the Elk River City
Council on Monday, March 26,2007, at 6:30 p.m., at the Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono
Parkway, Elk River, Minnesota.
The purpose of the meeting is for the 2006 Annual Report Presentation.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk to post this notice at least
three days prior to the meeting date. I further request the city clerk to notify each member of
the City Council of this special meeting, in writing, at least one day before the meeting.
