Extend time to record Final Plat of Jabez, requested by Scott

Introduction
The Final Plat ofJabez was approved on May 15th, 2006. City Ordinance requires recordation of a final
plat no later than 1 years from the date of approval, or May 15,2007. The applicant is requesting an
extension to May, 2008
Staff has no concern with the extension as requested, with the understanding that the park dedication and
other fees are established at the time of final plat recording.

Final Plat Extension for the Plat of Jabez

The Plat of Jabez, which contains the Elk River Ford Dodge Jeep site, received
final plat approval from the Elk River City Council on May 15, 2006. City staff has
informed me that final plat approval is good for one year (in this case May 15, 2007) and
a plat is to be recording within this time period. As indicated at the May 15, 2006
Council meeting, I wish to postpone the recording of Jabez for various reasons.
I am requesting a one year extension (until May 15, 2008) for recording the Plat of
Jabez.
