Introduction
The Elk River City Council will be hosting an appreciation dinner for the many volunteers who serve on
Elk River Boards and Commissions.
Discussion
A quorum of the Council and Board and Commission members may be present at the dinner but they
will not be convening any meeting and no action will be taken.
There should be no discussion of city business by the attending members at the dinner as it could be seen
as a violation of the open meeting law.

will be attending a volunteer appreciation dinner on February 22,2007, at 6:00 p.m., at Rock Woods
Banquet and Conference Center, 9100 Quaday Avenue, Otsego, Minnesota. A quorum of the Elk
River City Council and Board and Commission members may attend the dinner; however, they will
not convene any meeting, and no action will be taken by the City Council or Boards and
Commissions at the dinner.
