Introduction
A temporary on-sale 3.2 percent malt liquor license is requested by the Elk River Area Chamber of
Commerce for the annual 4th of July event.
Discussion
The event takes place at Lake Orono Park. The request is to sell 3.2 percent malt liquor for on-sale
consumption on July 4, 2007. The Chamber of Commerce has submitted the appropriate application and
licensing fee. Because the event is being held on city property at Lake Orono Park, liability insurance as
well as dram shop insurance is required.
