Minutes
Elk River Library Board Meeting
November 28, 2006
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Ann Schroeder, Karen Stelk, Allison
Olson, John Dietz, Mike Hangaard and Donna Martin were in attendance. Bill
Maertz from the City was also present.
Bill gave us an update on construction. It started yesterday and is about 2 wks
behind but should be able to catch up. We will receive a $40,000 credit for the
Econaire pumps and they have met the warranty requirements that were specified.
Jenny from KKE will be the project manager; all things will go through her.
John gave us an update on the property sale. The vacant lot was sold to Habitat for
Humanity for $20,000. The Bailey house will be sent out to the top 5 brokers.
The agenda was adopted, Allison made a motion and Mike seconded to approve the
minutes from October and the Treasurer's report.
No correspondence, suggestion box or Librarian's report since Mick was not able to
attend.
Ann formally made a motion to "thank" Allison for her years of service.
Allison made a move to adjourn and Karen seconded it at 6:50pm.
