Introduction
In January, staff received authorization to advertise for the part-time Building Maintenance/Fire
Department Office Assistant.
Discussion
Staff advertised the Building Maintenance/Fire Department Office Assistant position and numerous
applications were received. After interviewing the top four candidates, staff is recommending that Nanci
Libor be hired for the Building Maintenance/Fire Department Office Assistant position. Ms. Libor has
worked with city government for more than eight years for Timesaver Offsite Secretarial Services. She
has a very strong knowledge of city government and its operations with extensive Microsoft Office
expenence.
Financial Impact
Ms. Libor would start at pay grade 3, step B ($15.59). She would receive a cost of living increase on
January 1, 2008 and then receive her fIrst step increase in July 2008.
