Board of Appeal and Equalization
The Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18 at the
Sherburne County Government Center in the County Commissioner's Room. A quorum of
the Council is required and either Councilmember Gumphrey or Farber must attend because
they have gone to the state required mandatory training.
The purpose of the Board of Appeal meeting is to consider and review 2007 estimated
market values and property classifications. Sherburne County will review some statistics for
Elk River and then the City Council will consider concerns from individual property owners.

I, Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor, hereby request a special meeting of the Elk River City
Council on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, 6:30 p.m., at the Sherburne County Government
Center, 13880 Highway 10, Elk River, Minnesota.
The purpose of the meeting is for the Board of Appeal and Equalization review process.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk to post this notice at least
three days prior to the meeting date. I further request the city clerk to notify each member of
the City Council of this special meeting, in writing, at least one day before the meeting.
