Dear Chief Beahen:
This letter is to inform you of the results for the Tobacco Compliance Checks for the City
of Elk River. The checks were conducted on Thursday, March 29, 2007 during the hours
of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Eric Balabon, Police Officer Elk River Police Department,
Darren McKernan, Police Officer Elk River Police Department, Mark Lees, Community
Health Coordinator Sherburne County Public Health Department, Lindsey Gothe, Intern
Sherburne County Public Health Department and two under aged youth checked twenty-
three businesses that are licensed through the City of Elk River. Elk River Bowl was not
checked since it was closed due to building damage.
Beaudry Express sold a pack of Camel Lights to our under aged youth. The last "Sale of
Tobacco to Children" was 08/30/2006. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions
