Introduction
Staff is requesting that Jessica Miller be eligible for a step increase July 1,2007.
Discussion
When Ms. Miller was promoted to the Executive Secretary/Deputy Clerk position last January, she was to
be eligible for her first step increase July 1, 2008. In the course of performance evaluations last month we
discovered a discrepancy between the pay for Ms. Miller and the pay for Jennifer Johnson. Ms. Johnson
was transferred from Legal Secretary to Secretary in the Administration Department when the Legal
Department was eliminated. We would like to fix this discrepancy by providing a step increase to Ms.
Miller on July 1, 2007.
Financial Impact
Funds are available in the 2007 Administration budget
