RE: NORTHEAST AREA TRUNK SEWER AND WATER
ASSESSMENT HEARING
Dear Council Members:
The one improvement associated with the Elk Park Center development that is not 100%
petitioned for and therefore must have an assessment hearing is the extension of trunk
sanitary sewer and water and the reconstruction of 193rd Avenue east of TH 169.
Previously, the City Council has held a public hearing for these improvements. Staff is
recommending that an assessment hearing be scheduled for August 22, 1994. We are
currently working with City Attorney Peter Beck on the proper format of the resolution for
the City Council to consider which will determine the cost to be assessed and order the
preparation of the assessment rolL As of this time, this resolution is not complete but will
be available at Monday evening's meeting. I will be in attendance also should you have any
questions regarding this issue.
