SUBJECT: Appointment to County Canvassing
Board
According to State Statute, the Mayor of the most populous municipality of
the County shall sit on the County Board of Canvass. The Statute also states
that no member shall be a candidate of public office. Therefore, the Mayor
should appoint either Councilmember Scheel or Farber, as they are the only
members of the Council that are not candidates for public office.
ACTION REQUESTED
Appointment of Councilmember to County Canvassing Board.
