Motion to approve a temporary on-sale premises extension to the Fraternal Order of Eagles for June 2,
2007.
Background/Discussion
The Eagles Club would like to hold a benefit at their Club on June 2, 2007. They would like to have their
members and guests be allowed to have alcohol outside their establishment in the parking lot. State law
allows for these types of events as long as the area is compact and contiguous to the licensed
establishment. The area must be fenced, used for expanded seating, have secure and controlled access,
and be covered by liquor liability insurance. The Eagles Club stated they will meet the requirements above
during the event.
This event will be similar to a benefit event the Club held last summer. The Police Department has
approved the request.
