DATE: SUBJECT: MAIN ST/T.H. 10 INTERSECTION OPTIONS . The City Engineer has been reviewing various options to improve the Otsego bridge, Highway 10, and Main Street intersection ever since we took our spring MnDOT tour. The clarity of the sketches that I have in my office are not the best for reproduction purposes, and, therefore, no attachments are offered with this agenda item. The City Engineer will have some good handouts for the Council at the meeting and will discuss the existing situation and various options to improve this intersection. No final action is being requested by the City Council on this item, and these options, along with available finances, may very well be discussed in more detail during the winter CIP worksessions. . Box 490 Elk River, MN 55330 RE: MAIN STREET/TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 INTERSECTION Dear Mr. Klaers: As requested by the City Council some time ago, we have done a number of conceptual layouts for the potential realignment of the intersection of Trunk Highway 10 and Main Street, including the Parish Avenue Bridge. Attached to this correspondence are three of these conceptual layouts that I have half-sized. I believe these to be the three most viable alternatives. I do, however, have several others that could be presented just as background. Please let me know how you would like to proceed with this issue.
