SUBJECT: Appointment of County Board of
Canvass designee
INTRODUCTION
The Sherburne County Board of Canvass will be held on Thursday,
November 10,1994, 1:00 p.m. at the Sherburne County Government
Center.
.
The purpose of the Board of Canvass is to review the election results of the
November 8, General Election.
State Law calls for the Mayor or his designee to sit in on the Board of
Canvass. Because the Mayor is a candidate in the election, he must appoint
a council member who is not an election candidate as his designee.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Motion by Mayor to appoint either Councilmember Scheel or Councilmember
Farber to the Board of Canvass.
