River from the Elk River Lions Club
Action Requested
Council adoption of attached resolution acknowledging the $1,000.00 contribution from the Elk River
Lions Club pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
Background/Discussion
The City of Elk River recently received a donation in the amount of $1,000.00 from the Elk River Lions
Club to be used for the Fourth of July Celebration fireworks.
Financial Impact
The $1,000.00 donation will be used towards the Fourth of July Celebration fireworks.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all CIVIC groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a 1,000.00 donation from the Elk River lions
Club with the intent it be used by the City of Elk River for the Fourth of July Celebration
fireworks; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the Elk River lions Club for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 18"' day of June 2007.
