Resolution Acknowledging Contributions to the City of Elk
River Parks and Recreation Department
Action Requested
It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary
contribution from the following donors pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
The City of Elk River Parks & Recreation received the following donations;
. $100 donations from Ace Solid Waste Company, Coborn's Inc., and Kemper Drug
. $250 donation from Connections, Etc.
. $500 donation from Elk River-Rogers YF. W. Post 5518
. $1000 donation from WaImart
. $1500 donation from Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3264
. $2000 from Elk River Lions Club
. $2500 from Great River Energy
. $3600 from The Bank of Elk River
. $3600 from First National Bank of Elk River

Financial Impact
Contributions from several local businesses were received to be used for various recreational
opportunities, Safety Camp, National Night Out, and Fright Night.

RESOLUTION #07-
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and individuals
for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the year 2007 from various individuals
and organizations as iternized in Exhibit A; with the intent it be used by the Parks & Recreation
Department for 2007 general recreational opporrnnities; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River to
acknowledge the donations on the attached Exhibit A are accepted in accordance with the terms
prescribed by the donors.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 18'h day of June 2007.
