SUBJECT: HIRING ELECTRO-MECHANICAL
TECHNICIAN
I am recommending the hiring of Peter Readon for the Electro-Mechanical Technician
position starting on February 6, 1995, at an hourly rate of$17.75. The pay range for this
position is $17.75-20.75 per hour.

Out of the four applications we received, Peter was the most qualified. During the
interview Peter showed great confidence in his ability to perform all the duties connected
with the Electro-Mechanical position. Peter more than meets our requirements for this
position.
The council may recall advertisement for this position was approved at the 10/17/94
meeting. We hoped to have this position save the City money in the maintenance and
repair of electrical equipment (control panels, building wiring, and pump motors),in the
repair and maintenance of other equipment at the Waste Water Treatment Facility and in
the maintenance and repair of equipment for other City Departments.
