OUT OF CLASSIFICATION PAY
This memo is to inform the city Council that Secretary/Receptionist
Linda Johnson has sustained a work related arm injury allegedly due
to her typing duties. As a result of her injury, her doctor has
put us on notice that for the next month or so she should refrain
from extensive typing duties. I am, therefore, going to have
Linda do the receptionist duties.
As a result of this, I am going to assign the Receptionist, Shari
Peterson, to take on Linda's typing responsibilities and am
requesting authorization from the City to pay Shari at the second
(2nd) step of the Secretary/Receptionist pay scale for the time
being until Linda is authorized by her doctor to resume her duties.
This is a $ .72 (seventy-two cents) per hour pay increase.
