SUBJECT: Ordinance Amendment to section 218.06
of the City Code pertaining to Vacation
and Rate of Accumulation
INTRODUCTION
On December 12, 1994, the City Council voted to amend the vacation
schedule for City employees. The amendment reflects the same schedule that
was adopted in the 1995-96 Police Union Contract.

This amendment must officially be made by amending the City ordinance.
Attached to this memo is a copy of the proposed amendment to the City's
ordinance relating to vacation and rate of accumulation. This amendment
will become effective January 1, 1995.
ACTION REQUESTED
The Council is requested to adopt an ordinance amendment reflecting the
change in the vacation schedule for city employees.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 218.06(4)(B)
OF THE ELK RIVER CODE OF ORDINANCE REFERRING TO
VACATION - RATE OF ACCUMULATION
The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1: That the vacation schedule and rate of accumulation
schedule as listed in Section 218.06(4)(b) of the Elk River City Code of
Ordinances, is hereby amended as follows:
