Item Description
Consider Temporary On-Sale Liquor License - Hinote Heroes
Action Requested
Council approval of a temporary on-sale liquor license to Hinotes Heroes for July 28, 2007 contingent
upon receipt of a certificate of insurance and approval from the State Alcohol and Gambling
Enforcement Division and with the following condition:
· A representative from Hinotes Heroes work with the Police Chief to determine if reserve
officers are needed at this event.
Background/Discussion
The Hinotes Heroes Foundation will be holding a one day event at Orono Park on July 28,2007. Hinotes
Heroes has submitted the appropriate application and licensing fee. Because the event is being held on
city property at Orono Park, liability insurance as well as dram shop insurance is required.
Police Chief Jeffrey Beahen has indicated that reserve officers may be necessary at this event. Hinotes
Heroes is responsible for coordinating the reserve officers with the Police Department.
