Be: Elk River Library Expansion
On November the 1st. TSP I Eos Architecture reviewed the CODStn1cticm
at tho libmry aDd gCDoru.tod a "pUDch list" CUWD.OJUting the
miscellaneous items which need to be colTeCted. We found the project to
be substantially complete and the board has CODcUlT8d with our
dctcnDmaticm, therefore we will prooocd to issue the certificate of
SlIbstantial completion dated November the 1st. This corresponds with
the contractom required date of substantial oompletion of October the
31st. This is the date which establishes the beginning ofwornmty
periods for equipment.
The library is rurmiD&' under its new arrangement with. only minor items
to be COlTeCted. The contractor has indicated his intent to have all the
-punch list" items completed by the end of the month. The only itBm
which will need to be completed in the spring is the complete charging of
the air conditioning compressor. This is aD acceptable schedule to us.
In regard. to the funding VB. actual conatl"uction costs the attached
summary indicates the estimated amounts by line item VI. the actual
cost. At the bottom is the amount of funds remaining ($32,095.00) These
moines could be used to fund t\uuishingB au.d equipment needed in the
new larger facility.
