SUBJECT: Appointment of Vice Mayor
INTRODUCTION
As part of the annual business meeting, the City Council is required to
appoint a Vice Mayor to preside in the absence of the Mayor. All Council
Members are eligible for this office. The past practice of the Council has been
to rotate the position based on seniority.

Listed below are the Vice Mayors that were appointed during the past three
years:
o 1992 - Vice Mayor Holmgren
o 1993 - Vice Mayor Dietz
o 1994 - Vice Mayor Farber
