SUBJECT: Annual Renewal of Licenses
7.3A - KENNEL LICENSES
.
A commercial kennel license is required of any person having more than
three dogs over six months of age on their property. The fee for a kennel
license is $75.00. A conditional use permit must be granted prior to receiving
a kennel license. The Community Service Officer inspects all kennels to
ensure compliance with their conditional use permits. All of the listed kennel
applicants have had their kennels inspected and approved by Cheryll
Edinger, Community Service Officer.

Cigarette licenses are renewed on an annual basis. In 1994, the City Council
raised the cost of cigarette licenses to $25.00. Listed below are the applicants

Mechanical Amusement Device licenses are renewed on an annual basis.
This type of license includes video games, electronic dart boards, pool tables,
mechanical rides, jukeboxes and pinball machines. The license cost is $35.00
per device. Listed below are the applicants who are requesting mechanical

first ten lanes and $5.00 for each additional lane.

7.3E - Theraneutic Massae:e License
The City of Elk River requires a license to operate a therapeutic massage
establishment ($150.00 license fee). The City also requires a license to
practice massage therapy ($100.00 license fee).
