Motion to approve a temporary on-sale premises extension to the Fraternal Order of Eagles for July 21,
2007 with the following conditions:
1. Work with the Police Department to address any issues/concerns.
2. The license is not valid until approved by the Commissioner of Public Safety.
3. Event must be held in an area that is fenced in with secured and controlled access and be
compact and contiguous to the licensed establishment.
Backlround/Discussion
The Eagles Club would like to hold a benefit at their Club on July 21,2007. They would like to serve
alcohol to members and guests outside their establishment in the parking lot. State law allows for these
types of events as long as the area is compact and contiguous to the licensed establishment. The area
must be fenced, used for expanded seating, have secure and controlled access, and be covered by liquor
liability insurance. The Eagles Club has held many events similar to this in the past.
