Authorization to Purchase Lawn Tractor
Action Requested
Authorization to purchase lawn tractor that was included in the 2007 Parks Maintenance budget.
Backlround/Discussion
The 2007 Park Maintenance Budget included $12,250 for a zero turn lawn tractor. This will replace a
1996 Cub Cadet mower that has high hours. This type of tractor is used for the fine trim mowing around
fences and playgrounds, etc.
Staff is requesting authorization to purchase a 2007 Toro 27 hp diesel mower from at a cost of $11,371
using the State of Minnesota contract (#436936).
Vendor: Greenberg Implement, 19745 Nowthen Blvd., Nowthen, MN.
