Backlround/Discussion
1bis is an annual budgeted item in the Street Department's budget. Each year the City solicits
competitive bids for the furnishing and installing of the oil and the placement of the aggregate to
complete the sealcoating. The City buys and furnishes the aggregate themselves. The City Street
Department sweeps before and after in an effort to minimize the cost of the project.
Financial Impact
1bis is a budgeted item. The bids will be set up so that if necessary, portions can be deleted to
stay within the budget amount.
