Council motion acknowledging to the public that a quorum of the Council may be attending
informational meetings regarding the Redevelopment Framework Plan scheduled for Tuesday, July 24,
2007, at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., at Lions Park Center, 1104 Lions Park Drive but no city business will be
discussed or conducted.
Background/Discussion
A quorum of the Council may be present at the two meetings mentioned above but they will not convene
a meeting or take any action. There should be no discussion of city business by the attending members at
these meetings as it could be seen as a violation of the Open Meeting Law.

meetings to stakeholders regarding the 20-year Redevelopment Framework Plan scheduled Tuesday,
July 24,2007, at 3:00 p.m. and at 7:00 p.m., at Lions Park Center, 1104 Lions Park Drive, Elk River,
Minnesota. A quorum of the Elk River City Council may attend the meetings; however, they will not
convene any meeting, and no action will be taken by the City Council at the meetings.

20, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. on Main Street in Elk River, Minnesota. A quorum of the Elk River City
Council may be a part of the parade; however, they will not convene a City Council meeting, and no
action will be taken by the City Council during the parade.
