Adopt attached resolution acknowledging the monetary contribution from the Elk River Lions Club to
the City of Elk Rivcr pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
Background/Discussion
The City of Elk River recently received a contribution from the Elk River Lions Club to be used by the
SWAT Team fox the purchase of cold weather gear.
Financial Impact
$5,040.00 to be used towards the purchase of SWAT gear.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals fox their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $5,040.00 donation from the Elk River Lions
Club with the intent it be used by the City of Elk River fox the purchase of cold weather gear
fox the SWAT Team; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ciry Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the Elk River Lions Club for their donation.
