It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolutions acknowledging the contributions
from the following donors pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.
The City of Elk River Parks & Recreation received the following donations:
^ $100 donation from Gretchen Thompson
^ $100 donation from Warren Hanson
^ $100 donation from George Dahlheimer
^ $150 donation from Tom D. Miller
^ $200 donation from Franz Weckaufff
^ $750 donation from Great River Energy
^ Golf club set from Bonnie Rule

Financial Impact
Contributions from several local citizens and businesses were received to be used for various recreational
opportunities at the Senior Center and Pinewood Golf Course.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received an antique golf club set donation from Bonnie
Rule with the intent it be used by Pinewood Golf Course for display purposes; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the individual for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 5~' day of November
2007.

Warren Hanson and Gretchen Thompson; a $150 donation from Tom D. Miller; a $200
donation from Franz Weckauff and a $750 donation from Great River Energy with the
intent the money be used by Elk River Senior Center for the purchase of new pool tables;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the individuals for their donations.
