AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER AMENDING
SECTION 2-215, TITLED "MEETINGS AND RULES OF PROCEDURE"
UNDER DIVISION 2, TITLED "HERITAGE PRESERVATION
COMMISSION" OF THE ELK RIVER CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES
The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:

Section 1. Section 2-215 titled, Meetings and Rules of Procedure, of the City of
Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to read as follows:
The heritage preservation commission shall meet hold one regular meeting each
month. The dates. tim1es, and locations will be established by city council resolution

Sgecial and cancelled meeting ~y be determined at a,nv time at the request of the chair or
two other commissioners Regular, special, and cancelled notices of the commission
meetings shall be communicated to the members; and posted at city hall; ~lied~i-

this division, all commission meetings shall be governed and operated pursuant to Robert's
Rules of Order, Newly Revised (ninth edition) and open to the public.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2008.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 5th day of
November, 2007.
