I, Sandra A. Peine ., the duly elected, qualified and acting City Clerk of the City of Elk
River , and State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that a
meeting of the City Council of the City of Elk River held on the 9~ day of August ,1999, the
following named contractors Redstone Construction Co. - $525,513.53; Glenwood Bdd.qe Inc. -
$545,869.60; Park Construction Co. - $550,551.25 submitted bids for the furnishing of all labor,
tools, materials and equipment necessary for the construction of the work provided for under
plans and specifications for that improvement over TH 169 in Elk River, Sherburne County
otherwise known as S.P. No. 204-107-05 Minnesota Project TEAX 7100 (125)
located over TH 169 being approximately 0.387 kilometers in length.'
The bid of Redstone Construction in the amount of $525,513.53 appeared to be the lowest
bid received, subject to final audit, and on motion by Councilperson Thompson
and seconded by Councilperson Farber it was voted by said City
Council to recommend to the Commissioner of Transportation, as Agent for said City, that; (said
contract be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder) or (that all bids be rejected).
