SUBJECT: Ballfield Groomer
The 1995 budget identifies $10,500 for the purchase of a grooming machine
that will be used by the Recreation department during the summer to groom
softball and baseball fields and line soccer fields for the summer youth rec
programs.
It is my recommendation that the City Council authorize the purchase of a
John Deere Gator from Scharber's, Inc., of Rogers for $6,925 including tax.
I would also recommend the purchase of a field line striper from Cushman
Motors for use with the Gator for the sum of $1, 545 including tax. This
. striper will be used to line soccer fields and basebalUsoftball outfields.
