BoX 490 Elk River, MN 55330 RE: COUNTY ROAD 12/13 DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS Dear Council Members: As you are aware, this improvement project was bid approximately nine months ago and has been awarded to Dave Perkins Contracting contingent upon all necessary easements and permits being granted. The last of these was the petition for outletting into County Ditch #10 which was recently approved by the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners. We CIVIiENGINEFRING have contacted the Contractor and informed him that we are now able to provide anotice- ENVIRONMENTAI to-proceed with no contingencies attached. He has indicated that, given the wet conditions MUNILIPAI that we are now experiencing with the frost coming out of the ground, he would like to NNfNG wait a short period of time to see if the area will dry slightly. He 1s also somewhat LID WASTE inhibited now by weight restrictions not allowing the free movement of material and STRUCTURAL equipment. Therefore, he believes his construction schedule will be to start in late May to SURVEYING early June. TRAFFIC TRANSPORTATION This will give us ample time to once again contact the property owners that will be directly ELECTRICAL/MECHANtCAi affected by the construction activities. We will inform each. property owner by letter of the ENGINEERING: proposed constnlction schedule, and offer to meet with them individually to discuss any HVAC concerns or questions they may have.
