SUBJECT: Used Truck Purchase
In January, the Council gave me approval to start the purchase procedure for
a used tandem axle dump truck. It was my intention to advertise for bids on
February 1 and February 8, and open bids on February 10, but the Star News
lost our advertisement, so the dates were adjusted to advertise February 8
and February 15 and open bids on February 17. As such, the results of the
bids were not available for the agenda packet.
I will be present at the meeting Monday night with a handout recapping the
bids received and making a recommendation for Council consideration.
