Letter to the Editor
School District 728 needs more facilities to handle the increased
growth we are experiencing throughout the district. While no one
appreciates increased taxes, we need to provide for the kids of our
community. They represent our most important resource and they deserve a
quality education. It is also important to note that the state is providing 42%
of the funding for these building needs.
The many articles and referendum information explain this bond issue
in detail. I believe the most important issue is that we need to provide
quality education for all our children. Therefore, I will be voting YES on the
May 16, 1995, school referendum.
