SUBJECT: Utilities Commission Update
Attached for your review is the April 18 1995, Utilities Commission meeting minutes.
City Council and Utilities Commission member Dietz is scheduled to provide the council
with an update on the April meeting and on any other general Utilities Commission
activities of interest.

April 18, 1995
4:00 P.M.
Present Were: George Zabee President
James Tralle Vice Chairman
John Dietz Trustee
Others Present: Bill Sirrenkott General Manager
Bob McCartney Water Superintendent
Glenn Sundeen Line Superintendent
1) The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. by President
Zabee.
2) Motioa by Mr. Tralle, secoaded by Mr. Zabee to approv® the
agenda as amended. The Motioa carried.
3) Motion by Mr. Tralle, secoaded by Mr. Dietz to approve the

mi.autes of the previous meeting as distributed. The mot
carried.
4} Johnson Controls, who had requested to be on the agenda had
called earlier and cancelled their appearance.
5) The General. Manager reviewed the December, January, February,•
and March financial statements with the Commissioners.
6} The Line Superintendent reviewed the status of construction
projects and other operating .conditions. Mr. Dietz question,~d
the overhead line to serve the Courthouse area in the future.
Staff was directed to get estimates to see how much it would
cost to bury that line and report back to the Commissioners.
7} Motioa by Mr. Tralle, secoaded by Mr. Zabee, to approve the
ch®ck register.
8) Mr. Dietz reviewed with Commissioners concerns for future of
Street lights along Jackson Avenue. No action was taken at
this time.
9) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, May 16, 1995. at 4:00
• P.M. at the Utilities office.
10) Motioa by Mr. Tralle, secoaded by Mr. Zabee to adjourn. Ths
motion Carried. Heating adjourned at 5:I5 P.H.
