Action Requested
Appoint Arne Engstrom as the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners representative to the Energy
City Commission to fill the unexpired term of Rachel Leonard until February 28, 2010.
Background/Discussion
Rachel Leonard is the current Sherburne County Board of Commissioners representative on the Energy
City Commission. Ms. Leonard submitted a letter asking that Arne Engstrom be appointed as the County
Board representative on the Commission. Ms. Leonard will serve as an alternate member in Mr.
Engstrom's absence.

from Sherburne County on the Energy City Commission, and I will serve as the alternate;
attending when Ame is absent. It has been a rewarding seven years serving on this
Commission. I have had an opportunity to be part of discussions and projects furthering
the saving of the Earth's energy resources. I will continue to work toward those goals.
