Background/Discussion
Jabez received final plat approval on May 14, 2006. Elk Kiver Ford Dodge Jeep and LeFebvre Companies
are requesting an additional one year extension to better coordinate the development of these lots into
uses that are a good fit with the train station and the development of the city's property.

Subject: Request for a One Year Extension for Recording the Plat of

The Plat of Jabez incorporates Elk River Ford Dodge Jeep's facilities and four future lots
north of our facilities, south of Ulysses Street and west of 171St Avenue. These four lots
(created cooperatively with LeFebvre Companies) will be developed in conjunction with
the North Star Corridor Rail Station and the city's development of Gateway Business
Park.
Jabez received final plat approval from the Elk River City Council on May 15, 2006, at
which time a one year extension was grant for recording the plat (good until May 15,
2008). Elk River Ford Dodge Jeep and LeFebvre Companies are requesting an additional
one year extension for recording the Plat of Jabez or until May 15, 2009. The extension
will help us better coordinate the development of these lots into uses that are a good fit
with the train station and the development of the city's property.
