A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 07-88 ESTABLISHING THE
HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMISSION MEETING DATES
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council has previously established an advisory committee
related to issues pertaining to the historical, archaeological, engineering, and cultural heritage
of the City of Elk River; and
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council previously adopted Chapter 2, Division 2 of the
Elk River City Code, establishing the Heritage Preservation Commission; and
WHEREAS, Elk River Citti~ Code, Section 2-215, titled, "Meetings and rules of
procedure," calls fox the City Council to establish by resolution the meeting dates, times, and
locations of the Heritage Preservation Commission.
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council adopted Resolution 07-88 establishing the
Heritage Preservation Cornrnission meetings for the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00
p.m. at City Hall
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ciry Council of the City of Elk 1Ziver
. that effective February 18, 2008, the Elk River Heritage Preservation
Commission shall meet on the third Thursday of the month, at 6:00 p.m.,
at Ciry Hall.
